# Eatgether vs toki

The clearest difference is rating: toki at 3.7 against Eatgether's 2.9. toki also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). Eatgether's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 38%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eatgether sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $26.99 per month and toki sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

toki holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eatgether has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Eatgether's written reviews are positive against 38% of toki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Eatgether ships an update weekly, toki every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
