# Deerc FPV vs GX

The clearest difference is rating: Deerc FPV at 3.3 against GX's 2.9. Deerc FPV also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (257 vs 19). GX's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 34%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Deerc FPV holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deerc FPV has 257 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Deerc FPV's written reviews are positive against 43% of GX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Deerc FPV ships an update fortnightly, GX every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
