# Exif Pro vs EXIFER

The clearest difference is ads: Exif Pro at none against EXIFER's shown. Exif Pro also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 50%). EXIFER's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 26.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exif Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and EXIFER sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EXIFER holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Exif Pro's written reviews are positive against 50% of EXIFER's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
