# Mankiw vs TES

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TES at 50% against Mankiw's 0%. TES also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). Mankiw's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.6) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TES sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mankiw asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mankiw holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Mankiw's written reviews are positive against 50% of TES's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mankiw ships an update monthly, TES every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
