# Portillo's vs Marchelloni

The clearest difference is rating: Marchelloni at 4.8 against Portillo's's 1.9. Marchelloni also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 26.0). Portillo's's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Marchelloni holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Portillo's has 1K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Portillo's's written reviews are positive against 0% of Marchelloni's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Portillo's ships an update every 2 months, Marchelloni every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
