# SIMPlus vs Viefong

The clearest difference is rating: Viefong at 5.0 against SIMPlus's 3.6. Viefong also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). SIMPlus's advantage is ratings volume (157 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIMPlus sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Viefong sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Viefong holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIMPlus has 157 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SIMPlus ships an update fortnightly, Viefong every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
