# Musical Kittens vs ARPJAM

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Musical Kittens at 100% against ARPJAM's 33%. Musical Kittens also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). ARPJAM's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Musical Kittens sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ARPJAM sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ARPJAM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musical Kittens has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Musical Kittens's written reviews are positive against 33% of ARPJAM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Musical Kittens ships an update every 15 months, ARPJAM daily. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
