# Countdown Timer vs Finally

The clearest difference is ads: Finally at none against Countdown Timer's shown. Finally also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). Countdown Timer's advantage is iOS requirement (16.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Timer sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Finally sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Timer ships an update every 3 weeks, Finally every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
