# Cylinders vs Donuts Drift

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cylinders at none against Donuts Drift's 1. Cylinders also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 28%). Donuts Drift's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (13K vs 1.3K). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Donuts Drift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cylinders asks for nothing beyond the download.

Donuts Drift holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Donuts Drift has 13K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Cylinders's written reviews are positive against 28% of Donuts Drift's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cylinders ships an update every 6 weeks, Donuts Drift monthly. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
