# Room Escape vs Monkey Bounce

The clearest difference is rating: Monkey Bounce at 5.0 against Room Escape's 4.3. Monkey Bounce also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). Room Escape's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Room Escape sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Monkey Bounce asks for nothing beyond the download.

Monkey Bounce holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Room Escape has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Room Escape ships an update every 6 months, Monkey Bounce weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
