# Grade Control vs GradeGo

The clearest difference is rating: Grade Control at 4.2 against GradeGo's 3.1. Grade Control also leads on ratings volume (495 vs 58). GradeGo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (daily vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grade Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. GradeGo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Grade Control holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grade Control has 495 ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of Grade Control's written reviews are positive against 55% of GradeGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Grade Control ships an update monthly, GradeGo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
