# Grade Control vs Grademelon

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Grademelon at 90% against Grade Control's 30%. Grademelon also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Grade Control's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (494 vs 47). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grade Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Grademelon sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
