# myDSMmobile vs Aurora

myDSMmobile and Aurora both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of myDSMmobile's written reviews are positive against 33% of Aurora's. myDSMmobile also leads on ratings volume (11 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aurora holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myDSMmobile has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of myDSMmobile's written reviews are positive against 33% of Aurora's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myDSMmobile ships an update every 3 months, Aurora every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
