# Play Impossible Gameball vs Golf Up!

The clearest difference is rating: Play Impossible Gameball at 4.8 against Golf Up!'s 4.0. Play Impossible Gameball also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). Golf Up!'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Up! sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Play Impossible Gameball asks for nothing beyond the download.

Play Impossible Gameball holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Play Impossible Gameball has 964 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Play Impossible Gameball's written reviews are positive against 100% of Golf Up!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Play Impossible Gameball ships an update every 6 weeks, Golf Up! every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
