# Call Control vs Call Blocker

Call Control and Call Blocker both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 78% of Call Blocker's written reviews are positive against 33% of Call Control's. Call Control's advantage is ratings volume (6.7K vs 1.2K) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Call Control sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 3 months and Call Blocker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Call Control against 4.5 for Call Blocker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Call Control has 6.7K ratings behind it against 1.2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of Call Control's written reviews are positive against 78% of Call Blocker's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
