# Pilot's Path vs Blimps Limited

The clearest difference is rating: Pilot's Path at 4.6 against Blimps Limited's 3.0. Pilot's Path also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Blimps Limited's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pilot's Path sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Blimps Limited asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pilot's Path holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pilot's Path has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Pilot's Path's written reviews are positive against 50% of Blimps Limited's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pilot's Path ships an update every 2 months, Blimps Limited monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
