# Voice to Text vs ToText

The clearest difference is rating: Voice to Text at 4.5 against ToText's 3.0. Voice to Text also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 6) and device support (4 vs 2). ToText's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice to Text sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. ToText asks for nothing beyond the download.

Voice to Text holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice to Text has 11K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Voice to Text's written reviews are positive against 67% of ToText's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
