# Uptivo vs PaceBuddy

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Uptivo at 345 against PaceBuddy's 2. On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Uptivo sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.90 per month and PaceBuddy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Uptivo against 5.0 for PaceBuddy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uptivo has 345 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
