# FT Staff vs Wine Spies

The clearest difference is rating: Wine Spies at 4.9 against FT Staff's 4.2. Wine Spies also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 11). FT Staff's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
