# SWDC vs ADA Events

The clearest difference is rating: SWDC at 5.0 against ADA Events's 4.2. SWDC also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). ADA Events's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (24 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SWDC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ADA Events has 24 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of SWDC's written reviews are positive against 61% of ADA Events's.

SWDC ships an update every 12 months, ADA Events every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
