# Currently vs Weather App +

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Weather App + at none against Currently's 5. Currently's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 30). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Currently sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Weather App + asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Currently against 4.7 for Weather App +. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Currently has 1.7K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two.
