# Backgammon ▽▲ vs Backgammon Pro Online

The clearest difference is rating: Backgammon Pro Online at 4.7 against Backgammon ▽▲'s 4.2. Backgammon Pro Online also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months). Backgammon ▽▲'s advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 340). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backgammon ▽▲ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Backgammon Pro Online sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Backgammon Pro Online holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backgammon ▽▲ has 4.4K ratings behind it against 340, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Backgammon ▽▲'s written reviews are positive against 28% of Backgammon Pro Online's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Backgammon ▽▲ ships an update every 12 months, Backgammon Pro Online every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
