# Notes and Folders vs Folder Note and String Counter

The clearest difference is rating: Folder Note and String Counter at 4.9 against Notes and Folders's 4.5. Notes and Folders's advantage is ratings volume (300 vs 10) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes and Folders sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Folder Note and String Counter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folder Note and String Counter holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notes and Folders has 300 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Notes and Folders's written reviews are positive against 67% of Folder Note and String Counter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
