# Notes and Folders vs Smooth Note (with Folders)

The clearest difference is rating: Smooth Note (with Folders) at 4.9 against Notes and Folders's 4.5. Smooth Note (with Folders) also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (14.4 vs 18.0). Notes and Folders's advantage is ratings volume (302 vs 30).
