# SHAREit Pro vs PDF Reader

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PDF Reader at 77% against SHAREit Pro's 30%. PDF Reader also leads on price (Free vs $2.99) and rating (4.3 vs 3.7). SHAREit Pro's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

PDF Reader is free to download; SHAREit Pro costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PDF Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Reader has 3.9K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of SHAREit Pro's written reviews are positive against 77% of PDF Reader's.
