# SHAREit Pro vs AirDroid

The clearest difference is price: AirDroid at Free against SHAREit Pro's $2.99. AirDroid also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and review sentiment (43% vs 30%). SHAREit Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AirDroid is free to download; SHAREit Pro costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AirDroid holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AirDroid has 1.1K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of SHAREit Pro's written reviews are positive against 43% of AirDroid's.

SHAREit Pro ships an update fortnightly, AirDroid every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
