# Rings. vs Rings

The clearest difference is monetization model: Rings. at free against Rings's free with in-app purchases. Rings. also leads on ratings volume (407 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). Rings's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rings. sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Rings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Rings. against 4.7 for Rings. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rings. has 407 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rings. ships an update every 2 months, Rings every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
