# MyCar Controls vs Achakey

The clearest difference is ads: MyCar Controls at none against Achakey's shown. MyCar Controls also leads on rating (2.8 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (119 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyCar Controls holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyCar Controls has 119 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of MyCar Controls's written reviews are positive against 40% of Achakey's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyCar Controls ships an update monthly, Achakey every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
