# Bolide Quick Connect vs Mongotel Softphone

The clearest difference is rating: Mongotel Softphone at 3.9 against Bolide Quick Connect's 3.1. Mongotel Softphone also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). Bolide Quick Connect's advantage is ratings volume (263 vs 7) and review sentiment (38% vs 25%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mongotel Softphone holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bolide Quick Connect has 263 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Bolide Quick Connect's written reviews are positive against 25% of Mongotel Softphone's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
