# Twist vs SquadPod

Twist and SquadPod both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SquadPod's written reviews are positive against 64% of Twist's. Twist's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 21). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SquadPod sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Twist asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Twist against 4.7 for SquadPod. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twist has 1.1K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Twist's written reviews are positive against 100% of SquadPod's.

Twist ships an update monthly, SquadPod every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
