# Stack Buddies vs Happy Ring

The clearest difference is rating: Stack Buddies at 4.2 against Happy Ring's 1.0. Stack Buddies also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (57 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stack Buddies sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Happy Ring sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stack Buddies holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stack Buddies has 57 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stack Buddies ships an update every 5 days, Happy Ring every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
