# BISSELL Connect vs SharkClean

The clearest difference is monetization model: SharkClean at free against BISSELL Connect's free with in-app purchases. SharkClean also leads on ratings volume (502K vs 6.1K) and chart position (#133 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BISSELL Connect against 4.8 for SharkClean. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SharkClean has 502K ratings behind it against 6.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 48% of BISSELL Connect's written reviews are positive against 49% of SharkClean's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
