# BISSELL Connect vs Maytag

The clearest difference is monetization model: Maytag at free against BISSELL Connect's free with in-app purchases. Maytag also leads on ratings volume (46K vs 6.1K). BISSELL Connect's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (48% vs 30%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for BISSELL Connect against 4.7 for Maytag. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maytag has 46K ratings behind it against 6.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 48% of BISSELL Connect's written reviews are positive against 30% of Maytag's.

BISSELL Connect ships an update fortnightly, Maytag every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
