# iWanamaker vs TourScope

The clearest difference is rating: TourScope at 5.0 against iWanamaker's 2.7. iWanamaker's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 14 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TourScope holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iWanamaker has 63 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
