# Selfree vs ClipForge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Selfree at daily against ClipForge's every 2 months. Selfree also leads on iOS requirement (7.1 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Selfree sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ClipForge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Selfree ships an update daily, ClipForge every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
