# Railroad Crossing Train 3D vs Train Maker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Railroad Crossing Train 3D at 100% against Train Maker's 76%. Railroad Crossing Train 3D also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Train Maker's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (870 vs 104). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Train Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Train Maker has 870 ratings behind it against 104, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Railroad Crossing Train 3D's written reviews are positive against 76% of Train Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
