# Gecor vs Gijón

The clearest difference is rating: Gijón at 4.8 against Gecor's 4.0. Gijón also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Gecor's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 17%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gijón holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gijón has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Gecor's written reviews are positive against 17% of Gijón's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gecor ships an update every 2 weeks, Gijón every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
