# Color Code vs zongo

The clearest difference is ads: zongo at none against Color Code's shown. zongo also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 months). Color Code's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Color Code sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and zongo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Color Code ships an update every 6 months, zongo every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
