# IB Validator vs MyConnector Platform

The clearest difference is update cadence: MyConnector Platform at every 3 weeks against IB Validator's every 6 months. IB Validator's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IB Validator ships an update every 6 months, MyConnector Platform every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
