# Hoff vs ЭБ24

The clearest difference is rating: Hoff at 4.8 against ЭБ24's 1.0. Hoff also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (492 vs 2). ЭБ24's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hoff holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hoff has 492 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hoff ships an update fortnightly, ЭБ24 every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
