# Hoff vs LEOMAX

The clearest difference is ads: LEOMAX at none against Hoff's shown. LEOMAX also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Hoff's advantage is ratings volume (489 vs 10) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LEOMAX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hoff has 489 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hoff ships an update fortnightly, LEOMAX every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
