# ReefLite vs Kamoer Remote

The clearest difference is rating: ReefLite at 5.0 against Kamoer Remote's 1.5. Kamoer Remote's advantage is ratings volume (84 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReefLite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kamoer Remote has 84 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of ReefLite's written reviews are positive against 10% of Kamoer Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ReefLite ships an update every 2 months, Kamoer Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
