# Project vCard vs HEMII

The clearest difference is monetization model: HEMII at free against Project vCard's free with in-app purchases. HEMII also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). Project vCard's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Project vCard sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and HEMII sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Project vCard against 5.0 for HEMII. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 4 respectively.

Project vCard ships an update every 2 weeks, HEMII every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
