# Assistant Piscine vs Home

The clearest difference is rating: Home at 5.0 against Assistant Piscine's 1.0. Home also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). Assistant Piscine's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 23%) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 17 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Home holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Assistant Piscine's written reviews are positive against 23% of Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Assistant Piscine ships an update every 4 months, Home every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
