# BT vs LED DMX

The clearest difference is rating: LED DMX at 1.8 against BT's 1.0. LED DMX also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (91 vs 5). BT's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 11%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LED DMX holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED DMX has 91 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of BT's written reviews are positive against 11% of LED DMX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BT ships an update every 3 months, LED DMX every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
