# Scottie Go! Edu vs mBlock

The clearest difference is rating: Scottie Go! Edu at 5.0 against mBlock's 3.1. Scottie Go! Edu also leads on iOS requirement (9.2 vs 15.0). mBlock's advantage is ratings volume (152 vs 1) and review sentiment (34% vs 10%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scottie Go! Edu holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mBlock has 152 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Scottie Go! Edu's written reviews are positive against 34% of mBlock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
