# Aktiv Learning vs Coursicle

The clearest difference is rating: Coursicle at 4.8 against Aktiv Learning's 3.1. Coursicle also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#180 vs unranked). Aktiv Learning's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 38%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aktiv Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Coursicle sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Coursicle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 185 and 780 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Aktiv Learning's written reviews are positive against 38% of Coursicle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aktiv Learning ships an update every 3 weeks, Coursicle every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
