# Aktiv Learning vs MyPacific

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MyPacific at none against Aktiv Learning's 1. MyPacific also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%) and iOS requirement (14.2 vs 17.0). Aktiv Learning's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and rating (3.1 vs 2.8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aktiv Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MyPacific asks for nothing beyond the download.

Aktiv Learning holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aktiv Learning has 185 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Aktiv Learning's written reviews are positive against 100% of MyPacific's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aktiv Learning ships an update every 3 weeks, MyPacific every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
