# Aktiv Learning vs Kodent

The clearest difference is rating: Kodent at 5.0 against Aktiv Learning's 3.1. Kodent also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). Aktiv Learning's advantage is ratings volume (186 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aktiv Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Kodent asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kodent holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aktiv Learning has 186 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Aktiv Learning's written reviews are positive against 67% of Kodent's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aktiv Learning ships an update every 3 weeks, Kodent every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
