# Study.com vs DegreeForum

The clearest difference is rating: DegreeForum at 5.0 against Study.com's 4.2. DegreeForum also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Study.com's advantage is ratings volume (3.8K vs 10). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Study.com sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DegreeForum asks for nothing beyond the download.

DegreeForum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Study.com has 3.8K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
